Meet The Founder & Visionary of RPM
Pastor Juan E. Sharp Sr.; a leader, visionary, community leader, anointed and appointed preacher is used by the Holy Ghost to build, uplift and enhance the body of Christ in a unique way. Juan E. Sharp was born on the rough side of Buffalo, N.Y. He is the seventh child born and raised by dear mother Willie Ella Sharp who he honored and loved most respectfully as the Bible says. As a young child he cared for the welfare of people. As a teenager until adulthood he worked in construction. After graduating from Burgard Vocational High School he wanted to become more efficient in business so he went to Buffalo State College and obtained a BA degree in Business Administration.

Living in a world of all types of sin not to name them, the Lord called. Pastor Sharp answered and said, “YES” in September of 1988, and He was filled with the Holy Ghost and began his pursuit with God. Pastor Sharp was under the anointed tutorage of Dr. Superintendent Lincoln Williams Sr. of Deliverance Temple COGIC of Buffalo, NY from the tender age of 7 years old. In September 1996, Pastor Sharp gave his trial sermon. In July 1998, Dr. Williams sent him before the board to be ordained by the Church Of God in Christ. Pastor Sharp attended six years of seminary study at Greater Refuge Temple Bible Institution.

In June 2001, Pastor Sharp was voted valedictorian and the person most likely to succeed graduating top of the class.
After serving many years as Dr. Williams armor barrier and assistant pastor, the Lord spoke to Him and told Pastor to stop building houses and start building homes through My Resurrection Power. Just as the Lord told Abraham to get thee out of his country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee. “A house is not a home if no one is living there”.
Resurrection Power Ministries was birthed and founded by Pastor Juan E. Sharp. Our mission is to Build, Uplift and Enhance Godly men, woman, boys and girls for the Kingdom of God. The Lord spoke to Pastor Sharp and said, “I don’t need another church I need ministries. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. I need you to minister.”
After surveying door to door in the Travelers Rest area, The Lord allowed Pastor Sharp to open the doors of R.P.M on November 30, 2003. With many years of hard work, we fast forward to the year 2020. The Lord is now in the process of expanding Resurrection Power Ministries to having 3 entities; Rizen Church, The Life House Community Center and International Missions.
